Today's dinner had a certain 70s look to it, probably thanks to the gherkin and "out of a can" pineapple slices.
But who cares about the visuals when it turned out really well! The carrot-potatoe purée actually started out as soup for lunch, but after a few hours in the fridge, the leftovers had turned rather solid and worked perfectly with the string beans. Mmm.
Now I'm trying to decide if I should indulge in a bit of dessert ... I was given so much chocolate on Sunday and it's just screaming at me from the pantry. *Eat me! Eat me!* Oh dear.
